Dr Noel Saines completed his medical degree at Melbourne University and just one of his many appointments since graduating and completing his specialist training as a Neurologist has been as the Assistant Professor of Neurology, Neurological Institute of Columbia University, New York (1982 – 1983).

Dr Saines is a Consultant Neurologist at Wesley Hospital, Brisbane and Toowoomba Hospital.   Dr Saines is the Director of the Wesley Hospital Stroke Unit.
