Dr Adam Stewart is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Clinical Microbiologist. Having completed his PhD in 2024, he is currently completing a Master of Biostatistics at Sydney University.
Dr Stewart’s research interests include clinical trials, new antimicrobials, diagnostics for infectious diseases, and infections involving transplant recipients and other immunocompromised patients.
Dr Stewart has received numerous awards including the Queensland Health Junior Doctor Research Fellowship, ASID ASM Advanced Trainee Research Award, RACP Trainee Research Award, Avant Doctor-in-Training Research Scholarship, multiple ECCMID Travel Grants, and most recently the ASA Travel Award – Antimicrobials.
Away from medicine, Dr Stewart is currently learning German and AMEB Pianoforte. He is a member of Australian Mensa.
