Dr Katrina Samios

Dr Katrina Samios is an experienced psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Her training in psychiatry was undertaken at The Royal Brisbane, Royal Children’s and Walston Park Hospitals in Brisbane and Prince Henry Hospital in Sydney. On qualifying as a Fellow of the College of Psychiatrists, Dr Samios practiced as a consultant in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and established her private practice. Dr Samios has continued to further her studies post Fellowship. Her particular areas of interest are the diagnosis and management of psychological trauma and psychological disorders which occur at the interface of the body and the mind.
