What is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon?

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons work across a broad scope of practice from procedures to improve aesthetic appearance to full reconstructive surgery. Reconstructive surgery aims to restore the form and function of a body, and is performed on abnormal structures caused by trauma, infection, tumours or disease.
